Potassium Balance and Avoiding Bloating of Stomach
This is something to be aware if you want to stop the bloating of stomach
I agree on how important the potassium/sodium balance is. I became severely
potassium
deficient when I wasn’t eating many or any vegetables. I had huge ankles, muscle
pain,
protein in my urine, fatigue, and constipation. I just thought it was part of
die off when it
was unnessessary suffering. So do be careful. I was kind of bothered that this
issue was
never brought up before and is so important. But we’re all learning here and I’m
wondering
if there is any way to avoid this w/o taking a supplement? I really agree that
this diet is a
good way to be even w/o candida, but we should be able to live healthy w/o
taking
supplements. Would the key here just to eat more vegetables and less salt?
That’s what I
am doing now and it seems to help. Maybe I can find a list of the richest
potassium foods.
Stomach Bloat and Emotions
This is a way of thinking I have adopted after getting tired of having to deal with stomach bloat:
I’ve managed to turn things around for myself and have
a different perspective with food. My only concern
for my food is that it’s edible and super-nutritious.
I’ve managed to really seperate my emotions from what
I eat.
That doesn’t mean I don’t want things that are off
plan.. the want never goes away.. but I know that
those emotions are fleeting and will go away a lot
sooner than the consequences if I do decide to stray.
10 minutes of pleasure eating cake can set me back
months.. literally. I won’t trade 10 minutes for a
few months.
A bloated Stomach and Vitamin C
this is why it is important to take vitamin C when feeling a bloated stomach:
The thing is, there are some supplements that you just can’t get in
adequate amounts from food. Vit C is a good example. Our bodies don’t
synthesize vitamin C anymore, and the amounts we need just aren’t
available in food. Even a healthy person should take 3,000-5,000mg of Vit
C per day to maintain Vit C stores in case of sickness. I’m pretty sure
that none of us could eat enough broccoli in a day to get that kind of Vit
C.
Yougurt as a Way to Stop Gas Stomach Bloating
Good bacteria can be great to stop gas stomach bloating but you need to know a few more things:
The yogurt I eat is very sweet, so I imagine it
cancels the good bacteria out!
Yes definitely. If you want to get good bacteria, try
getting a good probiotic supplement. Probably better
to wait until you are well under way on the diet first
though.
Mental things to do to Avoid Stomach Bloat
It may seem silly but these are some mental actions you can do to start the day right and avoid your stomach bloat:
Before you get out of bed, do everything you can to bring yourself to great.
Here are some of the things I like to do as soon as I wake up:
Keep my eyes closed and recall dreams (there’s something innately satisfying
about doing this that sets me up for my whole day).
Remove pathologies & immune dysfunctions
Remove precursors & tendencies toward heart disease, compulsions,
eye problems, liver problems, diabetes, depression, and other things
that run in my family or I am concerned about.
Bring all my bodies to full function.
Do as much as I can from the prayers — e.g.,
- I’m installing the reflex to give love and empowerment.
- I’m completely connected to God in every possible way.
- I’m causing my career, & those of the people I love, to be completely what God
intends.
- I’m protecting myself and my people from incipient catastrophes.
- I’m leaving behind everything that slows me down.
Drink lemon water.
Hang upside-down, either on our inversion board or just from bed, with my
legs on the bed and my arms leaning on the floor, with my head hanging down
between them.
If you got up and are reading this and did not bring yourself to 100%
of what you can do for yourself, just do it now, before you do anything
else. This can keep you from making bad decisions and saying things you
will regret to your children, co-workers, and other people whom you love
and have responsibilities to. Don’t let bad things happen to you today
because you were lax — stay at 100% throughout the day.
Go ahead – take a moment and remove or install anything you didn’t get to
this morning.
Don’t slack off! If you’re curing a disease and you’ve slacked off,
don’t be surprised if it starts to regenerate.

Sugars and a Bloated Stomach
these are things to lower the amount of sugars in your body to lower your bloated stomach:
Maybe you could up your
nuts as you decrease your fruit. That’d lower your carbs more gradually
AND increase your protein a bit. I would guess that the fruit’s causing
you more issues than anything else, so maybe you could start by limiting
your fruit just to low-GI stuff (like the berries). Then, once you work
your way toward getting rid of the berries, you can also work on building
the protein a bit. 10% of calories from protein just seems awfully low to
me. Protein is vital when it comes to rebuilding your tissues, hair,
skin, etc. If you’re not taking in enough protein, then your body has to
get it from somewhere, and that means it’s going to tear down you muscles
to get it. Not a very pleasant thought, I wouldn’t imagine.
reducing Certain foods to Stop the Bloating of stomach
Below are somethings you can do to stop the bloating of stomach:
You want to take it slow, cut out the nuts and fruit
at a baby-step pace. To do that you need to be
responsible for how much you are eating.
Firstly, measure the amount you are eating now on a
regular basis. Then take that amount, and cut it by
25%. Keep eating 75% the amount of fruits/nuts until
you feel like that is a normal amount, and aren’t
craving tons more.
Each time you cut out 25%, take the same number of
calories plus an extra 100 calories in fat and ADD
them to your diet, to help with satiety. Repeat cycle
until you are off the nuts/fruits.
Cutting Down Some Food to Avoid a Bloating of Stomach
It’s difficult to say where to start cuttingdown food to avoid bloating of stomach, because
it depends on where you are. I always tell people to
start with any drinks that are not just plain water or
black coffee. Cutting out sodas, juices, milk, etc.
is a big step in the right direction.
It’s always best to drink just plain ol’ water and
lots of it. Black coffee is good to cut too, but as
it tends to be difficult to remove, I wouldn’t do it
first.
The next thing I’d go for is anything with transfat..
just remove that completely. I’d also look at
removing processed stuff. Then I’d next go for
grains, and I’d start with just doing a grain free
breakfast, then later grain free lunch, dinner, etc.
Next I’d remove any condiments that aren’t
appropriate, then next fruit, nuts, and then lastly
dairy.. I’m sure that’s not a complete list but it
gives a rough idea.
Avoiding Stomach Bloat with a Slow Transaction
If you’ve never had experience with even a less-restrictive low-carb diet,
changing cold turkey probably isn’t the best idea. I can say though that
when you do that and experience those symptoms, I’m betting it’s not
actually blood sugar related even though it feels like it is. (I’ve had
those symptoms myself at times, and I’ve checked my blood sugar, and it’s
fine.)
When you’re first starting out on a plan where carbs are significantly
restricted, it’s crucial that you pack in as much fat as you can! As soon
as your glycogen stores run out, your body’s got to learn to derive energy
from fat and protein, and there’s a transition there that’s not always
pleasant. You can make it go a little smoother though by cramming in the
fat!
I agree with most who advocate making slower dietary changes (in most
cases), but there’s something to consider. High fat in the presence of
high carbohydrate is NOT healthy, so you don’t want to get stuck in that
situation for too awfully long.
It’s tough, but actually, I HAVE to do things the cold turkey way or I
never make the switch. And you only feel real yucky like that for a
couple days (if you choose to do it that way.) Debby might have some
better suggestions about how to make changes more slowly if that’s the way
you choose to go.
Gas Stomach Bloating and Candida
Here’s the quick, down-and-dirty of what to do when facing gas stomach bloating and candida:
The first step is eat cleanly and supplement appropriately to starve the
candida and support your immune system. Then you can introduce
antifungals. and finally, you can reintroduce beneficial bacteria that
were killed off when your immune system went crazy and the candida took
over.
I always try and find the cause of something when I notice symptoms.
Believe it or not, candida is a symptom. It’s a symptom of an immune
system that isn’t strong and functioning properly. So if you deal with
the underlying cause AND stop feeding the candida, you’re well on your way
to health. It’s a long process though, and it takes hard work and
patience.
