Potassium and Feeling Bloated After eating
Increasing Potassium to decrease the chance of feeling bloated after Eating
Well you can increase your veggies, as veggies contain
a good deal of potassium. Also you can decrease your
salt intake. If you choose good veggies, it will
offset the rise in carbs, just don’t go overboard.
Also certain veggies are antifungal, like broccoli and
cabbage.
A milk shake to Help you Avoid Feeling Stomach Bloating
This is a healthy shake you can take to feel good and avoid feeling stomach bloating
I make a very yummy protein drink every morning. This is a variation on a warm drink that I believe came from bee (I know I heard about it from Debby way back).
Anyway here’s the basic recipe:
1/2 cup HOT (near boiling) water
4T (at least) coconut oil (I get mine from Tropical Traditions, can use pressed to not get the coconut flavor)
Vanilla extract
Sweetener – mixture of liquid Splenda (Sweetzfree) and pure Stevia (I use enough to make Debby faint)
Cinnamon (I just turn up my big container and squeeze, use to taste or not at all)
Blend all this either in a blender or with a stick blender
2 raw eggs
Blend again until throughly mixed
12-16 ice cubes (depends on how cold or thick you want it)
Blend again to break up all the ice
This makes a lucious, creamy drink. You can NOT taste the eggs. If you want to give this to someone who will totally gag over the thought of raw eggs just make it up when they can’t see you and give it to them. My kids think this is the best stuff ever.
You can add other stuff – like powedered cocoa, peanut butter (yeah, I know I don’t use it but it is tasty), other flavorings such as almond or maple.
I drink this every morning and it keeps me filled up and going until at least lunch time.
Stomach Bloat and Emotions
This is a way of thinking I have adopted after getting tired of having to deal with stomach bloat:
I’ve managed to turn things around for myself and have
a different perspective with food. My only concern
for my food is that it’s edible and super-nutritious.
I’ve managed to really seperate my emotions from what
I eat.
That doesn’t mean I don’t want things that are off
plan.. the want never goes away.. but I know that
those emotions are fleeting and will go away a lot
sooner than the consequences if I do decide to stray.
10 minutes of pleasure eating cake can set me back
months.. literally. I won’t trade 10 minutes for a
few months.
Mental things to do to Avoid Stomach Bloat
It may seem silly but these are some mental actions you can do to start the day right and avoid your stomach bloat:
Before you get out of bed, do everything you can to bring yourself to great.
Here are some of the things I like to do as soon as I wake up:
Keep my eyes closed and recall dreams (there’s something innately satisfying
about doing this that sets me up for my whole day).
Remove pathologies & immune dysfunctions
Remove precursors & tendencies toward heart disease, compulsions,
eye problems, liver problems, diabetes, depression, and other things
that run in my family or I am concerned about.
Bring all my bodies to full function.
Do as much as I can from the prayers — e.g.,
- I’m installing the reflex to give love and empowerment.
- I’m completely connected to God in every possible way.
- I’m causing my career, & those of the people I love, to be completely what God
intends.
- I’m protecting myself and my people from incipient catastrophes.
- I’m leaving behind everything that slows me down.
Drink lemon water.
Hang upside-down, either on our inversion board or just from bed, with my
legs on the bed and my arms leaning on the floor, with my head hanging down
between them.
If you got up and are reading this and did not bring yourself to 100%
of what you can do for yourself, just do it now, before you do anything
else. This can keep you from making bad decisions and saying things you
will regret to your children, co-workers, and other people whom you love
and have responsibilities to. Don’t let bad things happen to you today
because you were lax — stay at 100% throughout the day.
Go ahead – take a moment and remove or install anything you didn’t get to
this morning.
Don’t slack off! If you’re curing a disease and you’ve slacked off,
don’t be surprised if it starts to regenerate.

Avoiding Stomach Bloat with a Slow Transaction
If you’ve never had experience with even a less-restrictive low-carb diet,
changing cold turkey probably isn’t the best idea. I can say though that
when you do that and experience those symptoms, I’m betting it’s not
actually blood sugar related even though it feels like it is. (I’ve had
those symptoms myself at times, and I’ve checked my blood sugar, and it’s
fine.)
When you’re first starting out on a plan where carbs are significantly
restricted, it’s crucial that you pack in as much fat as you can! As soon
as your glycogen stores run out, your body’s got to learn to derive energy
from fat and protein, and there’s a transition there that’s not always
pleasant. You can make it go a little smoother though by cramming in the
fat!
I agree with most who advocate making slower dietary changes (in most
cases), but there’s something to consider. High fat in the presence of
high carbohydrate is NOT healthy, so you don’t want to get stuck in that
situation for too awfully long.
It’s tough, but actually, I HAVE to do things the cold turkey way or I
never make the switch. And you only feel real yucky like that for a
couple days (if you choose to do it that way.) Debby might have some
better suggestions about how to make changes more slowly if that’s the way
you choose to go.

The Rules to Stop Stomach Bloat
In the last post, I told you about the benefits of food combining as a way to get rid of a bloated stomach. In this post, I will give you the basics of how combining foods work. Please, keep in mind that this is a very basic post.
The first rule in food combining is to make sure that you do not mix carbohydrates with proteins in the same meal. This is the most important rule because they use totally different types of enzymes that neutralize each other.
However, you can eat vegetables (the green type with a high water content) with any of these two groups. This is so because green vegetables are digested very easily by the system and don’t require special enzymes.
What this means is that you can eat, for example, a steak with a salad or pasta with salad. However, you should not mix a steak with a plate of pasta. By the way, that’s why pizza is usually not a good idea – The cheese and meat in the pizza are proteins and the base of the pizza is a carbohydrate.
Also, eat fruit by itself. This is so because fruit doesn’t need to be digested in the stomach and goes straight through it. In addition, keep in mind that you should eat fruit after a meal if the food in your stomach has already been digested.
Another thing that will help you is to make sure that you don’t drink liquids during a meal or during the time the food is being digested. Liquids tend to reduce the effectiveness of the enzymes that are used to digest the food.
As you see, the rules are fairly simply. The good news is that by following these simple rules, you can get rid of a bloated stomach fairly quickly.
How Stomach Bloat Drugs Work
Many people suffering from bloating of stomach try the regular prescription drugs or anti-acids that are available in the drugstore. What most people don’t know is that according to national statistics, 95% of people who take drugs to deal with a bloated stomach get only momentary relief.
This is so because most acid reflux drugs have serious permanent side effects. If you think about it, you may think that it’s weird that doctors will only prescribe these types of drugs for no more than 7 days at a time.
Conventional acid reflux drugs are known to interfere with liver function and even damage the internal balance of the body. Even as important, they are related with build up of toxins.
This happens because anti acid drugs promote the creation of a hormone called Gastrin. An excess of Gastrin in the body is related to cancer of esophagus. By the way, cancer of the esophagus is one of the fastest cancers.
As someone who suffered from a bloating of stomach quickly, I know what it is like to feel bloated and lacking energy. Sleepless nights were a reality for me even though I tried every drug doctors prescribed me.
If you suffer from a bloated stomach, you may consider more natural ways to get rid of stomach bloating. The truth is that you just need to understand how your body works, and how you can help it to reestablish the balance that it was intended to be in.
