Grapefruit seed extract as a way to fight against a bloating of stomach:

I think the Grapefruit seed extract is working beautifully. It’s
supposed to be good for lots of problems, so I figure that while I
use it to get rid of the candida problems it can work on those other
things too…win/win.

The pau d’arco in capsule form is fantastic. If you don’t drink
enough water with it you burp up the taste though…so I chug the
water when I take them.

I’ve started cutting back on the fruit and fruit juicing this week.
Boo hoo hoo. I’m severly tired from cutting back. Drinking fresh
juiced fruit gives me so much energy. But oh well…I want to get
rid of this candida problem.

I’m still craving the parmesan cheese LOL. Just thinking about
slicing off a piece and putting it in my mouth makes my mouth
actually water still. LOL.

This is something you can do if your stomach is bloated and don’t know how much you are going to eat:

I do have days where I
can hardly finish my food, and other days where I am
wanting more. Usually on the days I am wanting more I
might have an extra tbsp or two of coconut oil
straight.

I still believe planning your food is such a
foundation for this. It doesn’t matter if you are fat
or thin, many of us are tempted by the wrong foods.
When you have foods prepared and ready to go, you set
yourself up for success, because you have appropriate
food choices available.

In your case you can plan for your max calories, which
is around 2500, then if you don’t feel like eating it
all, don’t. Also bring a small container of coconut
oil with you at all times, because worse case scenario
you can eat a bit of that in a pinch.

This is just something I wanted to include for people as an aid for gas stomach bloating

I wanted to tell you about my mom and the wonderful relults she has
had with the ion foot baths and getting her candida under control.
She had chemical and other sensitivities for years, which prevented
her from wearing/smelling perfumes without strong reactions and
eating fresh veggies and certain fruits for several years (if she did
eat them, even in the tiniest amount, her mouth would swell and she
would get terrible sores on the inside of her mouth. She’d have to
take benadryl but she wouod feel very sick for awhile afterward). She
worked with essential and fragrance oils in large quantities and so
we thought her body had just been over-exposed and was reacting. Now
it seems it was a candida issue, aggravated by the fragrance exposure.

She has a friend with an ion foot bath who offered to give her weekly
treatments for free. Mom did have to take minerals after the
treatments; I think this is the recommended practice if doing the
treatments over time. (the particular brand her friend has is aqua
chi, although there are some cheaper ones out there. There is one at
gaiam.com for $250 that I am looking into purchasing in the future.)
Week after week after week yeast would come out in the water during
her baths. At least this was what the color charts indicated as far
as what impurities were coming out in the water. In all this time,
Mom did not change her eating habits for any length of time and she
still drank beer regularly. (Of course I am not recommending that we
eat whatever and just do foot baths to cure candida) However, over
time, and I believe it took some months, she was able to eat fresh
veggies again with NO reaction whatsoever. She can also wear perfume
now too with no problems. She continues to be able to eat any fresh
veggie and fruit she wants. I am not saying that she is cured by the
foot bath, but it seems to have helped get things under control.

These are some of the things that you can do to fight stress in order to fight bloating of stomach:

Firstly, get sleep! Go to bed before 10 pm, every night. If you have
trouble sleeping, or don’t get a restful sleep, try melatonin before bed.
It worked for me. Take plenty of Vitamin C, B-vitamins including B12, a
good multiple.

You can also try adrenal glandular products (Isocort works
well), but if that isn’t enough, you may needto go on hydrocortisone for
awhile, to allow your adrenal glands to “rest” and build up their reserves
again. This can take anywhere from 2m onths to 2 years. I’ve been on it for
almost a year now, and am currently weaning off, slowly.

Make sure you get
plenty of protein in your meals throughout the day, low carbs/low-no sugar.

Try to avoid stress (ha!) Or at least figure out how to manage it, with
deep-breathing, essential oils, rescue remedy, etc. Switch from regular
salt to Celtic or Redmonds sea salt, and use it! You’re adrenal glands are
responsible for your electrolyte balance, and when they are not functioning
properly, your sodium levels go wonky. magnesium is also very important
(and also helps with the fibro pain).

I am going to talk about a side benefit that is not mentioned very often when talking about a bloated stomach:

Well I got my diet really really clean, where I found
a real peace with my food, and stayed there for a
while. I noticed this amazing peace where I wasn’t
having cravings or hunger.

After feeling this peace for a while, when I tested
certain foods because I had so much peace, it was much
more noticeable when foods started messing with my
peace. Cravings started coming back around, I’d want
more and more of that food, etc.

this is a different view about coffee, candida and gas stomach bloating:

Definitely the idea here is to one by one refine and
clean up your diet, but often if you do that too
quickly, you are unable to deal with it physically or
emotionally.

Being that coffee is so addictive, and in my
experience not an issue with candida, it wouldn’t be
one of the first things I’d cut out of someone’s diet
who was on the opposite end of the spectrum from where
they needed to be.

I spent 2 months weaning off of coffee and changing
nothing else about my diet but that. It’s been my
experience that the only way in some cases to make
something a habit is to change it slowly and give
yourself time to focus on that and nothing else, until
it is second nature.

Sometimes cold turkey works for people. I’ve had some
things I’ve quit cold turkey with no problem. Most
things were more ingrained in my life, and slow
changes have been the most effective.

On the other hand I have seen people do cold turkey,
fall off the wagon, lather, rinse, repeat. That was
me. I was in good company too. I’m done with that
cycle now I believe.

This is a healthy shake you can take to feel good and avoid feeling stomach bloating

I make a very yummy protein drink every morning. This is a variation on a warm drink that I believe came from bee (I know I heard about it from Debby way back).

Anyway here’s the basic recipe:

1/2 cup HOT (near boiling) water
4T (at least) coconut oil (I get mine from Tropical Traditions, can use pressed to not get the coconut flavor)
Vanilla extract
Sweetener – mixture of liquid Splenda (Sweetzfree) and pure Stevia (I use enough to make Debby faint)
Cinnamon (I just turn up my big container and squeeze, use to taste or not at all)
Blend all this either in a blender or with a stick blender
2 raw eggs
Blend again until throughly mixed
12-16 ice cubes (depends on how cold or thick you want it)
Blend again to break up all the ice

This makes a lucious, creamy drink. You can NOT taste the eggs. If you want to give this to someone who will totally gag over the thought of raw eggs just make it up when they can’t see you and give it to them. My kids think this is the best stuff ever.

You can add other stuff – like powedered cocoa, peanut butter (yeah, I know I don’t use it but it is tasty), other flavorings such as almond or maple.

I drink this every morning and it keeps me filled up and going until at least lunch time.

AThis is a place you can go to to find more about the right potassium levels and avoid the bloated stomach

Check out <http://www.ars.usda.gov/Services/docs.htm?docid=9673> and
scroll down to “Potassium”. You can view a PDF that lists foods and their
potassium content. Obviously, not all of the foods on the list are
appropriate for us, but the list can definitely be helpful.

For the last two days,
I’ve supplemented with 600mg of potassium citrate, and it’s really made a
difference in how I feel. My feet aren’t all swollen like they were, I
don’t have the muscle pain that I was having, I’m feeling more energetic,
and I feel like my BP must be a bit lower too (which is a good thing for
me.) Potassium is VERY important!
